I'm in IB art at my school and we had to pick a theme for the peices we produce throughout the course.

Mine is teenage self expression.

Teenagers are famous for decorating their rooms and, their doors in particular, with stuff that is uniquely them. The music they like, pictures of friends, drawings, poems, signs, and warnings of the consequences should you choose to enter.

I'm going to my local goodwill and seeing if I can pick up a door for cheap. Then I'm going to unleash some of the teenagers I know on it and see what they come up with. It'll be a community art project so the only thing I'll do for class is write about it. If anyone has any contibutions e-mail me or send me a message on deviant. I can probably afford to do more than one of these if their is any interest. Feel free to pass the idea on to any friends you may have, just send me some pictures as I'd love to see what they come up with.
